Halyk Bank and AWS are organising an "Agentic Football AI" tournament in Almaty on 26 October 2026, scheduled to run from 10:00 to 17:00 at KBTU, according to a post on the QazStartup Telegram channel.
Participants build AI agents, decide which role each agent takes in a virtual football match and set its game strategy; the agents then compete against one another in real time. According to the announcement, no deep programming knowledge is required to take part.
People can enter alone or as a team of three, and the organisers say they will help those without a team find one. Entry is free, and the field is limited to 32 teams in total.
The winning team is promised 500,000 ₸. Registration runs through a link published on Halyk Bank's website, and the channel post also points readers to a calendar entry for the event.
