Alif Moliya has placed a $10 million sukuk on the Astana International Exchange, becoming the first company from Uzbekistan to list on the Kazakh exchange, according to the Telegram channel Pik Skartarisa, which reported the placement on 23 October 2026.

The channel called the sum small, including for Alif itself: the company has attracted more than $300 million to Uzbekistan since 2019, it said.

By issuing the sukuk, Alif moves onto the public market and reaches private investors, mainly in Kazakhstan, according to the channel. It said many people and companies there have wanted to put money into Uzbek business, and now have a listed instrument to do it with.

The channel said AIX is one of the few venues where money can be raised through Islamic finance. It also said Alif will issue a sukuk in Uzbekistan as soon as local rules permit.

Alif has argued for Central Asia as a single market, according to the channel. It gave the example of entrepreneurs from Tajikistan raising money through the Kazakh exchange to develop business in Uzbekistan.

The channel framed the deal as a case other companies in the region can follow. It did not name the buyers in the placement or give the sukuk's terms.
