Business Cup 2.0 hackathon opens applications with 5 000 000 ₸ prize

Business Cup 2.0, a student hackathon, has opened applications, according to the Telegram channel Startup-Chaykhana. AIESEC in NU and international IT product company Zimran will organise the event at Nazarbayev University in Astana on 14-15 November 2026. The prize fund is 5 000 000 ₸.

Participants will work from an idea to a working product, the post said. The work includes researching the task, developing a solution, preparing the design and presenting the final project. Teams are advised to combine analytics and research, design, development, product management and presentation skills.

Bachelor's and master's students can apply. The application deadline is 9 November 2026.

Zimran's digital products are represented in more than 200 countries, according to the post. Participants will get practical experience in product development and can network with Zimran's team and other participants. The post said participants may also receive a job offer from Zimran.
