IT Community of Uzbekistan held a roadshow in Nukus on 17 October 2026, the organisation said in a Telegram post. The post put attendance at 190 at the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Ajiniyaz.
The organisers arranged transport for participants coming from Moynaq, according to the same post.
Speakers spent the day sharing their experience of building a career in IT, freelancing, developing startups and using AI for professional growth. Attendees could put questions to speakers during networking sessions, extend their professional contacts, talk over coffee breaks and win prizes in interactive activities, the post said.
The speakers named in the post were Shavkat Karimov, Amir Hotami, Ruslanbek Rakhmonov, Dilafruz Khidoyatova, Azam Umarov, Samandar Akromov, Ilkhomjon Aliev, Nozima Sharifova, Olimbek Nizomov, Aygul Tumaeva and Shukhrat Mirzaev.
Uzum, Huawei, UZCARD, Free.uz and EPAM were listed as sponsors. School 21, Women in Tech, OLX and the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Ajiniyaz were listed as partners. Women in Tech Uzbekistan republished the same announcement on its Telegram channel.
